Who am I?

Phil is a CrossFit Level 3 trainer with 16+ years in the game. International coach and gym owner. His sessions blend purpose, progression, and intensity; all backed by deep experience and a sharp eye for technique. Expect structure, sweat, and support, with every move designed to get you closer to your goals. Also: big fan of a post-workout bench chat and a heavy HWPO playlist.

Who am I?

Lia is Nova’s movement and mobility coach, leading playful classes and outdoor adventures. With a background in gymnastics, dance, and strength training, she helps people reconnect with their bodies through mindful, functional movement. Her coaching blends technique, body awareness, and fun: challenging you to move better, feel stronger, and enjoy the process.

Who am I?

Josie is Nova’s HYROX Coach with six years in the fitness industry, a HYROX Certified Coach, Level 3 PT, Level 5 Nutritionist, and 3x HYROX World Qualifier. Her science-led approach is shaped by her own journey of building strength and confidence through performance. After a career in corporate nutrition brands, she moved into coaching and won HYROX Bangkok in her first Pro race. Her mission at Nova: help you get stronger, faster, and more confident for the long run.

Leah is a strength and functional training coach who helps clients build power, confidence and skill. Her coaching is rooted in technique and consistency, with a focus on what your body can do, not just how it looks. With experience coaching around the world, Leah brings a thoughtful, supportive style that meets you where you're at and helps you move forward; stronger, every session.

Who am I?

Tomas is Nova’s bodybuilding and physique-development specialist, with over 20 years of experience and titles including Mr. Universe, Mr. World and Mr. Europe. His career reflects a lifetime of precision, discipline and deep technical expertise. His coaching is calm, focused and highly intentional. He specialises in muscle building, body shaping, isolated strength work, posture correction and long-term structural improvement. As a certified nutritionist, he also creates customised plans for sustainable results. Tomas meets every client where they are, guiding them with clarity and patience toward measurable, confidence-building progress.

Who am I?

Matt is Nova’s strength coach and nutrition specialist, with over 13 years of experience. He began as a university nutrition coach and has since helped countless people achieve their fitness goals through a scientific, personalised approach. He delivers strength classes focused on form, progression and long-term capability, and leads nutrition workshops that make evidence-based guidance clear and actionable. Matt empowers every client to train smarter, fuel better and see meaningful, lasting results.

Nick’s journey began with his own weight loss transformation — a personal mission that became the foundation for Nova Fitness Retreat. After turning his health around through discipline and mindset, he set out to help others do the same. His philosophy is simple: real change happens when fitness, nutrition, and community come together with purpose.

Chef Sebastian brings a passion for flavour and performance-focused nutrition to every plate at Nova. Drawing on international culinary experience, he designs meals that balance nourishment with creativity — turning healthy eating into something guests look forward to each day. His menus are built around whole foods, vibrant local ingredients, and the belief that recovery starts in the kitchen.

She teaches dedicated mobility sessions at Nova and also leads the range of Nova’s signature activities — including group hikes, kayaking outings, and even the occasional dance class — all designed to help people explore movement in joyful, accessible ways. With a rich background in gymnastics, dance, and strength training, Lia supports people in reconnecting with their bodies through mindful, functional movement. Her coaching blends technique, body awareness, and fun: challenging you to move better, feel stronger, and genuinely enjoy the process.
